For me, painting is a way of unwinding from the busyness of the world. As Picasso expressed so simply, “Art washes away from the soul, the dust of everyday life.” I use nature as an inspiration for my work, incorporating colour, movement and light into all of my paintings. I use an acrylic pallet of warm and cool colours, mainly blues and greens, to paint my two favourite subjects: seascapes and landscapes. My desire is that my work evokes an emotional experience. May you feel what you see!
